The Hundorp church was painted using Jo Sonja’s acrylics in 1996 on a 10” scalloped plate.
The Skabu Church was painted using Jo Sonja acrylics in 1997 on a 10” scalloped plate.
The Eidesborg Stave Kirke was painted using JoSonja acrylics in 1997 on a 12´scalloped plate.
The Lesja stave church was painted in 1998 on a 10” scalloped plate.
The Veum kirke near Fyresdal, Telemark was painted using JoSonja acrylics in 1999 on a 12” scalloped plate.
The Bykle church, located in the Setesdal valley, was painted in 2000 on a 12” plate.
The Bagn church in the Valdres valley was painted in 2000 using JoSonja’s acrylics on a 10” plate.
This Os church plate was painted in 2001 on a 12” plate while I was in Norway studying on the Vesterheim Rosemaling tour.
This Os church plate I painted in 2001 after returning home from the Vesterheim Rosemaling tour. It’s on a 12” plate and the church is painted more in the primitive style that is seen on some old trunks, etc.
The Undredal kyrke was painted in 2002 using JoSonja acrylics on a 10” square plate from a photo I took the year before while studying on the Vesterheim Rosemaling tour.
I combined different styles from the Sor-Trondelag district on this Roros church plate. It was painted with JoSonja acrylics on a 14” square plate.
The Rollag stavekirke was painted using JoSonja’s acrylics on a 12” scalloped plate.
The Reinli stav church was painted using Jo Sonja acrylics on a 12” scalloped plate.
The God Jul Nissen were painted using JoSonja acrylics on a 12” scalloped plate.
The Borgund stave church was painted in 2007 using JoSonja acrylics on a 12” plate. It is also included in my 2007 publication, “Rosemaling Styles, Study and Design” which is out of print but available on DVD.
This is the church plate for 2009. It's from the Sogn og Fjordane area on the west side of Norway.
