The Eidesborg Stave Kirke was painted using JoSonja acrylics in 1997 on a 12´scalloped plate.
In the mountains of the Telemark valley, overlooking a lovely lake at the Lardel Museum, this small old stave church sits proudly. The first time I saw it there was a fresh layer of snow covering the ground, so I had to paint it that way. I surrounded it with a wreath of pine boughs and also mixed them in the Telemark border design.
