The Reinli stav church was painted using Jo Sonja acrylics on a 12” scalloped plate.
The Reinli stavkirke sits on the side of a hill in the Valdres valley of Norway. Earliest date mentioned for its construction is 1140. It has been rebuilt on the same site with old parts from previous churches found under the floor. It has a very unique door with an old wooden gate. I loved the bell house welcoming everyone and wanted to include it in the painting.
The packet includes three pages of instructions, three enlarged photographs and the line drawing.
