This Spring Flower box was painted in 2004 using JoSonja acrylics. It was taught at the 2005 SDP convention. The box measures 5” x 7” x 2”.
With this design I wanted to use spring flowers, still incorporating the popular rose and/or ranuculus, along with an iris, pansies, tulips, and lily of the valley and some little spring blooming filler flowers. I used a Blackberry background color, however any dark background color will work well with this palette.
The packet includes five pages of instruction, three enlarged photographs and the line drawing.
