Kallhovd Clock with Valdres Flowers. Pattern Packet

This Kallhovd clock is painted using JoSonja acrylics with Valdres flowers.  It measures 5 7/8” x 24” x ¾”.

The clock is painted in the style of Peder Aadnes (1739-1792) who painted throughout eastern Norway.  He was one of the earlier painters and therefore influenced many who came after.  He traveled to the continent, you can see by the German and Dutch influence in his flowers.  He beautiful rococo work in the Bagn church in Valdres inspired me to paint his style on this clock.

The packet includes five pages of instructions, two enlarged photographs and the line drawing.
