This geometric, Hallingdal shallow 10” bowl was painted using JoSonja acrylics in 2006.
There were many bowl painted in Norway in the old days. We have pictures of lots of Hallingdal ones, many of which were partially geometric. Sometimes the borders were asymmetrical and the inside geometric. In this design I used some typical Hallingdal elements. This Hallingdal design can be painted on your favorite background color. Black, black green, dark blue, Teal Green or Red/Red-Orange are good colors. I used Smoked Pearl shaded with the blue mix from the palette.
The packet includes three pages of instructions, five enlarged photographs and the line drawing.
