This is an unusual wood piece I had designed. The top and bottom were textured when they were turned causing a unique effect. I stained this area in some of the same colors from the palette to compliment the painting. Trouble is, I can't get anyone to make this box now with the textured lid and base.
I painted it in the Os style on a Smoked Pearl background. It would also be wonderful on a white, red or black background. The design can be used on something long and narrow.
The wood piece is seven inches in diameter by five inches high including the knob. The lid is the center part of the top area where the design is painted, making it more like a basket than a covered bowl.
