This Baroque flower catchall was painted on a Teal green background using JoSonja acrylics in 2006. It measures 10 5/8” x 18” x 5”.
I designed this catchall in reminiscence of other’s I have seen. It is a handy devise to hold all those little important things it’s hard to find a home for. This one I painted with Baroque flowers, which were inspired by Peder Aadnes’ style. He traveled and studied in Europe, throughout eastern Norway in the late 1700’s and inspired many painters after him.
The Norwegian lettering reads: “Det er ikkle gloymt som er goymt.” English: “It is not forgotten that which is hidden.”
The packet includes four pages of instruction, four enlarged photographs and the line drawing.
