This 10" plate was a 2017 Palooza Painting class project. The design includes typical scrolls, flowers and a border treatment. It's painted on a JoSonja basecoat color, Galaxy Blue.
I made this box years ago and recently painted it with these soft European flowers. The box is about 4 x 7 x3 inches. It's wonderful for jewelry or trinkets.

This small box is great for special jewelry. It's made of poplar and painted with a Smoked pearl background and stippled with soft Plum Pink. The flowers are painted in a European style. The inside of the box has a faux finish.
I painted this mangle tre in the Numedal style of Sebjorn Kaverndalen on a Gold Oxide background. It's a free, creative style that's fun to paint.

This Mangle Tre was made by Mike Lusk. It was a project for my 2017 Vesterheim class. Painted on a black background it incorporates some scrolls and typical flowers of the style. The horse is painted with Smoked Pearl and stippled with Raw Sienna and Brown Earth to be similar to the color of the fjord horse.

This unfinished tine was a gift which was made by John Wanke. Vest Agder seemed an appropriate style. I chose a dark blue background, but black would also be a good choice.
The Vest Agder design is painted with traditional colors on this interesting tray. Its easily adaptable to other objects or even just the corner design can be repeated on table corners, drawers, etc.
