These are some fun ornaments to paint, with a horse or dragon head, they will be a hit and appreciated. There are three styles of designs, Telemark, Hallingdal and Os. The designs can be mixed and matched.
This adorable little box is a great place to store a ring or gem. It seemed natural it should have a nisse sitting under the mushroom cap. I hope you'll enjoy painting this fun piece.
I taught this project at the 2018 Palooza convention. It's a wonderful piece to paint and use to decorate your front door for the holidays. I have the nisse gathering pine cones and in "Tree Harvest" packet he is cutting his tree.
This Tree Harvest sled is a companion to Pine Cone Harvest sled. I couldn't resist painting two of these sleds, wonderful projects for decorating a holiday door or entry way. This one is painted in the Telemark style with the Nisse harvesting his tree.
This is an unusal wood piece I had designed. The top and bottom were textured when they were turned causing a unique effect. Trouble is I can't get anyone to make this box now with the textured lid and base.
I painted it in the Os style. The design can be used on something long and narrow.
This door escutcheon fits around a door knob. If you have a dead bolt use can use the middle section that had the chicken painted on it or not. It's a great way to decorate a door with the Numedal design. It's easy to use a different background color with the same palette. It's painted in the style of Sebjorn Kverndalen.
Door escutcheons are used either side of a door knob. This Sor-Trondelag style escutcheon was painted first in this series. It measures 3 7/8” x 24 ¼” x 3/8”.
