This is a wonderful 13 x17 inch towel holder designed and made by Paul Brooks from alder with maple bars. it's very sturdy and good for hanging other things besides towels. My daughter uses hers in her laundy to dry her delicate things on. it has two keyholes for hanging to make it good and strong.
I painted the freehand asymmetrical Telemark design on a natural background with red, yellow and green.
This ale bowl design I painted for "Rosemaling Styles and Study' book, which is now out of print. This bowl is not the original, but one I painted along with four students who wanted to paint the bowl; it's a little different since I freehanded much of it. The 9 x 12 x2 inch bowl was turned from poplar. It has a Forest Green background with Smoked Pearl handles that were stippled with the same green.
This Long Sampler board includes eighteen styles was originally painted in 2004 using JoSonja acrylics. The board measures 11 ½” x 44” x 13/16”.
This Short Sampler board was painted in 2005 using JoSonja acrylics. The board measures 11 ½” x 20” x 13/16”.
This 12" plate has different views and stages of development of the European rose that I enjoy painting.
The packet includes the rose study worksheet. This design is similar to the one painted in the DVD, but if you order the DVD you do not need this packet, because one related to the DVD comes with it.
This is the first time I have painted European Flowers on this tray. It's an assortment of flowers with a stroke work border.
The Rose Study DVD would be helpful if you need practice on the basic structure of a rose. The tray is available in the unpainted wood catagory - W359.
