This tine was painted on a Teal Green background in 1995 using JoSonja acrylics in the Telemark style. It measures nine inches in diameter by four inches high.

This is an older tine I've had for awhile and decided to paint it with typical Hallingdal flowers on a reddish-orange (JoSonja's Russet) background that was so popular in the day. I love the big Nils Baera tulips and his other flowers and leaves, etc.
This Telemark mangle board is painted in a more contemporary style using metallics with the basic palette.
This tray is a joy to paint. This time I chose Numedal on a light background. You could use red, black or blue-black or greenish black and use the same palette. It's painted with characteristics from Sebjourn Kverndalen's work.
These Gudbrandsdal, Baroque flowers were painted in 1996 on the wood Chippendale tray using JoSonja acrylics. The measurements are 15 3/4" x10 1/8" x 1 1/8".
I love this new tray design and was inspired first to paint it with an Os design on a black green background. It would be wonderful painted on Warm White or Smoked Pearl with the same palette colors.
This is a great try for any style. Here I painted it with two roots so the design still flows around. There a lots of simple Telemark flowers frowing out between the scrolls and where ever there was empty spaces. I hope you'll enjoy this one which can be painted with any background color.
