Ale Bowl - Flower and Fish

The bowl is made from poplar and measures 8 1/2" in dia. x 2 3/4" deep.  I wanted the rim divided into 5th, so the border design could be repeated.

There are Hallingdal and Os designs for this bowl.

Angel Ornament

This angel is 4 inches high, assembled and ready to paint.  She is what was used to paint the angels in the Rosemaling Angel Collection packet.

Antiquity Clock

I designed this clock years ago and it has been one of my favorites and painted by other artists.

Arabazan Ale Bowl

This unique ale bowl is made of poplar.  The outside diameter is 8 1/2" by 2 3/4" high.  The inside bowl painting area has a 5" diameter by 2" high.

Bead-n-Scallop

This ale bowl was designed for the Hallingdal project in "Rosemaling Styles, Study and Design".  The design started out as geometric, but turned into having assymmetrical features as I painted.  Notice how the design goes around the central flower instead of radiating out straight from the root flower.  Some of the old bowls were designed in this manner.

Beaded Bowl (8x1.5)

This  8 x 1/5 inch bowl is turned from poplar.  It has a double bead on the inside just below the top which makes it unique and a useful container.  It has lots of possibilities for different designs.

Bean Pot

This small turned container is just 5 x 5 inches.  It's made in the US and it great for storing dried beans, peas or even cookies.

It has great painting possibilities.  So far I've painted it with Os, Hallingdal and Telemark designs.

Bird House Ornament (large)

This large,  turned, bird house ornament is 5 inches long.  The shapes vary since they are hand made, but are basically the same shape and size.

Bird House Ornament (Mini)

This small, turned, bird house ornament is about 3 inches long.  The shapes vary since they are hand made, but are basically the same shape and size.

Bostcast

This “Bostcast” was used in the old days to hold a comb and brush.  I heard they were coated with tar to keep the lice out of ones hair.  I designed it to fit a large size tissue box.  There is a towel bar underneath the bottom.  It measures 11” x 15 ½” x 6 ¼” and is constructed out of alder.
