Chippendale Tray

This Chippendale tray is made from poplar and birch doublesided plywood for the floor.  It measures 15 3/4" x 10 1/8" x 1 1/2".

In designing this wood piece I wanted a graceful shape as was used for many metal tray of the Chippendale period.  This was the result, not as thin and elegant, but a useful different kind of wood tray and can be painted with many different styles.
