This Royal Crown clock is basically made out of poplar and measures 8” x 18” x 1 ¼”. It is well sanded and ready to paint.
The idea for the shape came from scraps of wood left from cutting the door escutcheons. I’d been saving them for something unique. Paul Brooks (woodman) and I came up with this clock after working with different ideas. I hope you will enjoy its shape and the Telemark designs found in “Rosemaling Styles, Study and Design”.
This product includes the clock movement. I taught a different design on this piece at the 2008 Tampa convention.
